Well, it's not unlike a lot of other promotions. Get a friend to sign up for your phone company, get a friend to sign up for Gamefly, refer this person to that.

It's a nice way to get people involved, I suppose. I bet it costs less than advertising lol.

I also think people need to read about the tour mode in Rock Band. It's well beyond what is present in the GH series.

It's not even a comparison to me anymore. I understand there's a higher cost of entry for Rockband, but the possibilities of it are pretty amazing. I'm EXTREMELY excited about the full album DLC too. It's a very big deal to me and I hope it's priced reasonably. I'll be getting the Who album they announced right away. That was kind of the final blow for me.

There's a lot of stuff I'd like to see on there, but one that comes to mind would be Weezer's Pinkerton. That would be fun singing or on guitar or on drums.

I also have to admit that I'm not fond of this new guitar battle mechanic in GH3. The addition of power ups and stuff kind of just doesn't interest me at all.

Is Orange Box doing that well on the 360? I knew it was doing reasonably well, but I wasn't sure of an eventual million mark.

Also, it's 600 points, not 800. About 7.50 like DjDATZ says.

I kind of got over my pricing concerns with it quickly. It's a real world track, they clearly put a lot of work into it (apparently months) and a lot of the buzz seems to be that they're selling this at a bit of a loss. We'll see.

I don't think it was that bad. Including variations there were almost 50 total.

Yeah, unfortunately I sent in that first tip yesterday and the tip xeno just posted about 30 minutes ago... I guess they get a lot of tips in their box? lol

The game is looking all right so far.

I've never really been big on the original and feel that in some ways it's one of those victims of nostalgia. The claw is fun to use to an extent, but without a jump and other random wonky control issues I just do not find myself ever loving it. Maybe I'm in the minority there, which is fine lol.

I'm honestly expecting Psychonauts to be a quick Wii port with added features at a low cost to help build up interest in Doublefine and perhaps put some money into the coffers for Brutal Legend... which isn't a bad thing.
