@Suichimo
Unless they've recently changed their process, it usually takes Media Create (their source), a week to compile and release weekly sales data. So, they're right on time.

Darksiders 2 will be a 'day one' Wii U launch title

Mar 23rd 2012 7:17PM (Joystiq)
@Liquidfingers
Based off of current information and rumors, the Wii U will be significantly more powerful than 360 and PS3. The Next Xbox will be stronger than the Wii U, but not by a huge margin. Nothing is known about the PS4 at this point (publicly speaking).

The Wii U is also a sign that Nintendo will have a far more serious online strategy than previous Nintendo systems, with a user name-based system (Nintendo Network), as well as the ability to download digital copies of retail 3DS and Wii U games. While they are playing catch up to Microsoft and Sony, it's better late than never.

There's also the matter of the unique controller for it, which will have a plethora of inputs (touch screen, mic, camera, motion sensors, NFC, and buttons and analog sliders). The system can even stream the game to the controller's screen (originally it was announced to only be able to do this to one controller, but reportedly it can now handle two).

If nothing else, it'll certainly provide to being an interesting system. Not to mention, HD entries in Nintendo's many franchises.

Nintendo's been doing "gimmicks" since the beginning. You could even say that the Zapper was a "gimmick" since it was used for a few select games. Or ROB, since he was useful for... TWO games.

I play violent video games, and I'm not violent.

In fact, I'm a conscientious objector. You know, a coward.
