I honestly use an old wool ski cap I have. For the games I just use the clear plastic cases that came with the old orginal Gameboy cartridges. You can fit four carts in each one.

MarioKart always ends up back in the DS when I'm not playing Clubhouse Games with others here in the office. That game is a monster. Thanks to the wireless we (5 of us) actually will be throwing darts all day in our offices. A tip if your going to do it in your workplace, have the guy in the middle of everyone host.

I'm actually in the middle of the process of procuring a retail site in Philadelphia where I plan to open an old school arcade with the modern amenities. Inspired by the arcades of my youth in Wildwood, NJ I hope to bring that back to the Philly metro area minus the cheap prizes you would get down there. Sure it's good for business by bringing in the kiddies so they can walk out with a spider ring they're parents just spent $12 earning the points for but I'm looking to establish a more mature setting, a lounge of sorts where people can come in and play some Ms Pac-Man then go and grab a quick bite and visit Joystiq while enjoying free wifi.

It's a difficult (and expensive) process but life's too short to sit behind a desk all day playing Scrabble online.

Storm your shops! DS Lite street date broken [update 2]

May 31st 2006 12:36PM (Joystiq)
Confirmed.

Walmart near the Neshaminy Mall up on Rt. 1 has them Joystiq'ers. And they're in the case.

Here's the directions.
Take Rt. 1 N and get off at the Neshaminy exit. Make a left at the light and then another left at the next light. Walmart is in that shopping center.

Cheers,

Keg

Dear Joystiq staffers in Philly area,

The Walmart up at Franklin Mills apparently has them in stock. I'm heading up after work to see if I can grab one.

Your neighborhood,

Curing MMORPG inertia

Feb 9th 2006 9:09AM (Joystiq)
I love the idea. I find myself playing MMO's at release and then stopping after leveling gets to be a chore. I don't have time to put 2-3 hours a week into a game and thusly quit playing. Case in point I've had a character on WoW since it released and it's only upto level 25.
