You speak the truth, no respectable blog/website/publication should have articles that consist of "this is why this other person is wrong and I'm right".
As for the point, most have at least some hint of validity, apart from #9 - the iPad being locked down.
"iPad? Sweet, I'll use it to watch all my xvid movies legally ripped from DVD!....Oh, there's no alternative media player....Oh there's no way for me to transfer files onto the iPad filesystem [I know it's rumoured you will be able to do this, I'll believe it when I see it]....Hmm, maybe I'll just go to Hulu....Oh, no Flash"
Saying you'll be able to jailbreak the iPad is total speculation.
As for malware etc, the article is totally right. Oh wait, OS X isn't locked down, but doesn't have malware. But maybe it's different for mobile OSes? Check out Android and the Pre.
Having these limitations on a iPhone is fair enough. Having them on a device that they call [hyperbole adjective] fast is not.
The screenshot was the bit I got stuck on my first playthrough (when I was all of seven or eight!) - really arbitrary bit where you had to get the dog to jump into the water to distract the guard. Makes sense now, but there were no indications in the game to do it.
I think the article is misleading - it means if you're in the North, you can't choose to be Irish, but it comes across as you can't have an Irish flag no matter where you live.
I think NTFS drives (like Windows 7 mentioned) can only be renamed from within Windows, not within OS X (this is the case with my XP partition - once you rename the drive in Windows it should work fine).
PSO is definitely my best memory... Chatting online, finding rare items, speed running Ruins 1 with a hacked Spread Needle... Clocked up 500+ hours on it, loved every minute.
Always preferred the original to Ver 2 or Ep 1 & 2, the others felt gimmicky where the original felt pure. No feeling like hitting lvl 100 =)
