Because it's easy to practice great multi-core programming on a cheap PC with 6 or more cores...

My main concern is people like me who got the early editions with BC. What if they die, out of warranty and we have to replace them? Sony expects us to get a new PS3 and a PS2 to replace our old PS3... doesn't seem right. I have got over 2 dozen PS2 games since getting my PS3 and play them weekly...

Hmm... I played it, at least 2 of my friends played it... yet no Australia on the list... we are always forgotten it seems

Can't enter competition (Damn no aussie entries) but The Next Tetris on PS1... Best version of Tetris I have ever played and I have played a few... more time spent on that game against my brother than possible any game I have ever played before... and I played WoW for a year

This game might be the only reason for me to get my first Nintendo Handheld since the original gameboy... currently have a PSP Phat

It may be fine in America/Japan/Korea to have internet only play, but in other parts of the world trying to have a 4 or 8 player match over the one internet connection would completely fail due to link speeds and servers being in other countries. I'm in Australia and having 2 people on 1 internet connection can be slow at times. average ping is over 300ms... imagine that with 4 or 8 people on the one connection. Total fail.

I hate this and if it is passed at all (just the internet filter) I will probably move to another country, if the games thing is passed within the filter I will move, probably only to New Zealand, but i'll be moving.

Starcraft also had movable bases... only for Terran, but still

Actually, it's meant to work with any model, regardless of BC. Probably just reads the song data from the discs and not actually runs the game itself...

Good idea if you ask me, but Rock Band 2 importing of Rock Band 1 songs is still better.

I think they missed a great opportunity when MSG4 and GTA4 and GT5P came out to release the PS1 versions a week or two before. I hope just before FF is released they release a PS1 version ofif (ff7 hopefully). I know i would've got GTA1 & 2, GT 1 & 2 and MGS before i got the PS3 versions.
