I was under the impression the blackouts were to effectively demonstrate how the site being taken down would impact on the users of the sites to encourage them to stand against the bills.

This is so painfully short-sighted and broken thinking it hurts.

THQ are basically saying 'Another Space Marine won't provide a constant revenue stream like an MMO will, so we'll only do it if some magic forecasting somehow proves it to be a solid bet'.

We all know the MMO will be moved to F2P within a year after release, as seems to be the current MMO norm, bringing in enough revenue for it to survive after the inevitable mass server consolidation.

What about the market who won't/refuse to invest in MMOs? I take it as far as the bean counters see it, they're not worth supporting.

@Hank Hill It's pretty sad that 3-4 years ago, the second anyone saw 'Little Big' in the title, it was assumed to be the long wanted LBA 3!

I expect this will be included with the PC version to make up for it being so late. Of course, it still has Ubi-DRM, so nobody will buy it, regardless.
