It's Gamestop employee attitudes like Drago that's at the root of the problem here - if you work in any retail outlet, you shouldn't be allowed to borrow ANY product for your own personal use - you wanna borrow a game? Fine, then get yourself a goddamned Gamefly account. I don't care if the software you're borrowing is brand new or older than Jesus Christ, using your store's stock as your own personal library is apothesis of 'professional' behaviour.

I'd show my DSi to my Farah Fawcett, in the hopes that a DSi blessed by the hands of the Joystiq crew may cure her of her anal cancer. You never know, Bird and Beans my heal her beautiful Botoxed butt.

I'd like to see a CoD-style game take place during the Second Congo War or the Bosnian war - an environment in which you're fighting for the basic survival of yourself, your family and your own community, rather than just playing as some American/British bloke drop-kicked into a distant corner of the world in the name of spreading democracy and western values to the unwashed masses of the globe.

If this turns out to be true, then all it's gonna do is dilute the fun, DYI-atmosphere of the game.

I'd shoot for a "Magically Revive Unjustly Canceled Television Shows" Perk, so I could spend the rest of my life living underground happily watching brand-new seasons of Firely, Arrested Development, Futurama and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. instead of having to venture outside for entertainment. (Videotaped copies of said shows could also be bartered for food/water/guns with nearby folk, making my lead-laden pad the hippest joint in post-apocalyptic America.)

I'd use the Force Choke to shove the fat back into George Lucas's neck and then use it everyday afterwards to squeeza that funny white stuff out of my "Special Purpose" without using my hands (and once that got boring I'd probably put on a leather Vader gimp-mask and use Force Lightning on my Charlie Browns for an extra thrill.)

Regardless of the veracity of this rumour, Davison is one of the smartest guys working in the journalism end of the gaming industray, and so it would make a lot of sense for him to bail from the Ziff Davis fiasco as soon as possible and try to set up a smaller, less-perpetually-on-the-verge-of-insolvency-styled gaming news shop elsewhere on the web.

I can only hope he might be able to grab a few more 1up staffers as he walks out the door.
