Here is how you (sort of) fix it.

Turn off all spotlight search options (settings-general-home button)

Made mine useable again.

iPhone OS 3.2 supports video calling, file downloads, SMS and...multitasking?

Is it crazy to hope that when it actually comes out it will have a camera in it?

There was talk in the weeks before release that there was going to be a delay due to a technical problem. Did Apple show a model without a camera just to give the press something to handle until they fix it - but when it's released the real model will include one.
Perhaps the Wifi model doesn't have a camera and the 3G one does. I'd like to ask those who went to the Apple event and have touched them - were all the demo models the Wifi ones or were any the 3G models.

It's all very curious.

Segway Inc. bought by Segway UK?

That's weird because you can count the number of Segways in the UK on the fingers of one stump.
I've been all over the world and seen them in the most unlikely of places (used for tourism) - but I've never seen a single one here.

So it's just a DS for old people or people with poor eyesight. (DS Seniors edition)

Kind of makes sense - but this could qualify as the most uninteresting console product update ever.

Apple welcomes Windows 7 the only way it knows how, with a new commercial (video, updated)

Oct 23rd 2009 3:33AM (Engadget)
I use both Win7 and Snow Leopard and I think the OS's are getting too close to call now. Its just come down to personal preference.

Perhaps Apple should concentate on promoting the advantages of their hardware and design a bit more.

It's possible that they may pension off these Mac/PC ads when/if the Tablet arrives and they finally have something new to advertise on it's own merits. I'm sure even Apple realise that these ads are getting a bit stale (I did like the self-referential "this is an advertisement" comment though).

Samsung's 'Tap and Take' teaser hints at revolutionary, unicorn-approved Smart Cameras

It's like smile detection - but for tap dancers.
It catches them in mid dance.
Makes sure you never take another picture of someone doing a waltz or the soft shoe shuffle.
