Am I the only one that feels the PS3 is only, oh so slightly out of reach? I want to buy one so bad, but that damn price is to high. If the 20gb version got down to $400, I would consider buying it.

Hmm, Interesting. Let me just say that I am NOT a PSP Fanboy, but I do love RTS' and this one looks pretty good. I would put down $30 for it, but not $40.

What about Perfect Dark? That game is not half as fun unless you can play Elvis!

I do not own an xbox360. In fact, up until E3 2006 I was a die hard Sony Fanboy. Sony owned the video game market as we all know. But then they told me I would have to shell out $600 for their console. What did I do? I turned around and took a second look at the 360.

Now it is 2007. When E3 closed, I still did not own a HDTV. In fact, I did not own one until late into November. So HD was not a big deal for me. Now I own one, now it is. I bought a Wii on launch. This is probably my favorite console to come out since the N64 (yeah thats right, the N64 pwnz. What you going to do about it?). But the Wii does not satisfy that HD need I now crave. So I turn to the PS3 and Xbox. As of this moment in time, PS3 only holds one exclusive that I must own and will buy a PS3 for when it comes out. Final Fantasy XIII. But, I expect this game to come out in 2008. And in 2007/06 for the xbox360, it is getting games I must own (but are not all exclusive). Halo 3, Bioshock, Armored Core 4, GTA4, Blue Dragon (If released here), Lost Planet, Gears of War, and others I know I am missing. Also, my HD TV can only put out a 720p or 1080i signal. So I wont be able to watch any Blu-Ray in 1080p, and the xbox HD-DVD player is $200 extra, which I can buy later (when I have the money). Not to mention all the faults that the PS3 has right now. Now I do hate the xbox for not being 99% backwards compatible like the PS3, but I am ok with buying another xbox (mine stopped working 1 week ago) if I want to go back and play some games that are not on the list. So what am I saying? Basically this.

I was a Sony Fanboy. Then they kicked me in the balls at E3. So I bought a Nintendo Wii with a HDTV. Now I am going to buy a Xbox360. And then later an HD-DVD player soon after that. Then, once FF13 comes out, I might buy a PS3. But only if the price is at $400 for the 60gb version.

I surprisingly did not get to many electronics this year. Mostly Army crap, and just useful things for around the house. My electronics were simple enough, Logitech 5.1 speakers (cant remember the model, at work now), my brothers old keyboard because he got a new one for x-mas (I like to include these ^_^), 250gb SATA.

I got a 32" LCD HDTV for my brother and myself (Westinghouse), and my dad surprized all of us with a 56" 1080p DLP HDTV Samsung. This thing is pretty, but it has a 10" mark on the screen, so he is going to exchange it in a few weeks.

But the best present I got this x-mas is a Memory Foam cover for my matress. This thing took my hard and stiff matress of 7 years and transformed it into the best bed I have ever slept in. I highly recommend these things to anyone who has a shitty bed but not the $600 needed to buy a new matress. These things cost from $120-$150 at costco.
