They don't give a shit what you call it, so go nuts. They're changing the name because some greedy guy out in Europe is trying to fleece them for the trademark, so instead of buying it, they're just calling it Iron Brigade instead.

I guess it's aimed at those with multiple consoles? I suppose that's a small demographic, but who knows. But yeah, timed exclusives are dumb...if you think about it, it's rarely Sony/MS paying for games to be released early, but rather paying to have them delayed on other consoles.

Timed exclusives need to go away. The only people that lose out are the consumers.

Yeah, you're right, that does look pretty badass. Never heard of it till now.

I like that Sony's at least TRYING to put some effort into the downloadable domain, but so far it's entirely underwhelming. The only game I'd want on that list is Bloodrayne, and they're already late by a week compared to XBLA's release. A better announcement would've been Bastion, From Dust, and/or Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet sometime soon as opposed to a year from now if ever.

Yeah, muscle memory skills come easier to some than others. I'm not a good player by any means, but I do respect the skill involved in not only being able to pull off these combos effortlessly, but also have the reaction time and tactical skills to play the game properly.

Did Guerrilla sell well? I was sort of under the impression that it didn't fare all that great either. Seems like they were screwed either way. Still, if they went path 1, at least the niche gamers would've been happy.

Guerrilla was fantastic, but then they decided to go in a completely different direction and turned it into a generic corridor shooter to try to appeal to a wider audience. The franchise doesn't need to be "put down", it just needs to return back to its roots.
