Chat Noir - Time Waster

Nov 30th 2007 4:28PM (Download Squad)
I beat it on my first try as well. Just fenced the little guy in quickly and he couldn't get out. Really easy game. Seriously though, I think I'd actually have to TRY to lose.

Xbox 360 warranty extended, repairs refunded

Dec 30th 2006 8:06PM (Joystiq)
A good and necessary move from Microsoft. 60 days was simply not long enough. Often, problems don't even start occurring within 60 days of purchasing the unit.

Microsoft should have waited another 6 months or maybe even 3 quarters to release. I felt the 360 release was rushed. Had they taken their time and not hurried to be the first next-gen on the market, I think the 360 would be far more stable than it currently is.

I still suggest to all my friends that they get a 360. I love mine even with all the problems I've experienced. Also, simply updating the dashboard software didn't fix my problems like I initially thought. boo!

Downloaders Anonymous: We're addicted, it's official

Nice write-up Ryan. I'm somewhat addicted, only because I have to be because of my job. Will I be able to sue my employer once internet addiction is considered a real illness?

:)

This should be a national holiday.

We screwed up--so lets talk about a real solution to search privacy,

Aug 7th 2006 4:51PM (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
This is gonna cause a lot of problems for AOL. Not keeping logs of search data doesn't really seem like an option to me. Perhaps only a few people within AOL should be allowed to ever see the data.

Better yet, don't let anyone see the data except for other computers. There's no reason AOL should need to see any searches done by an individual user. So, why not just provide an interface to run reports against the log data? The reports could just give "generic" analytical looks at the data, giving top queries and so forth. I'm sure something similar is already in place, but something else obviously needs done.

Sure am glad me or none of my family uses AOL.

I like this much better than Froost. More stable and the hotkeys are "key".

Apple's Boot Camp pwns Mac OS X

The windows install overwrote the MBR on their drives. Probably boots right to Windows and doesn't even give an option. Funny.
