Mega Man 9 looks great, sounds great, did we mention looks great?

Ridge, if they made a game not aimed at people who consider the original NES series the greatest series of that generation, then they can just hang it up now. 8 bits was just fine, when I was 8.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that it's being done in nes-era graphics? I'm all for retro and nostalgic graphics in ports of classics, but when a NEW games does it, it just feels...cheapened. Powered Up for the PSP was absolutely charming...but this just feels like when clothing companies pre-fade and rip shirts/jeans in order to make it appealingly vintage.

I never though I'd say it, hell MM was my all time favorite NES franchise growing up...but I think I may have to pass on this. I regularly bust out 2, 3, and X on emulators, but something about this just seems wrong.

New gameplay vids of SCIV's burning souls

Clearly you're not much of a fighting game player. Fighters aren't the kind of game you can understand the discrepancies of simply by watching a handful of trailers. SC3 looked very similar to 2 if you only watched videos, but it was a vastly different game because of the nuances of the characters and their move sets.

Call of Duty: World at War announced

Killer, coming to a fanboy site and telling people not to express negative opinions of games they won't buy is borderline trolling.

jc's complaint is also valid. It's not just a complaint on all WWII games, but on a franchise that made a very successful and well recieved move by finally shifting out of that era and is now going right back to it.

Call of Duty: World at War announced

This feels like Treyarch was just busy pumping out another WWII game on 4's engine and they slapped the Call of Duty name on it for a push.

Nintendo snubs gamers over 330 lbs.

Why not see it as extra motivation to lose the weight? Personally, I think it's pretty sad that "playing a video game" would be more motivation to lose weight than, oh say, your general health and well being, but hey, whatever works.

Nega-review: Grand Theft Auto IV

Less features does not automatically mean it's worse game. 4 versus SA is an issue of quality versus quantity in almost all aspects...guns, cars, land. I would much rather have a smaller city that's far more detailed and packed with activity than the miles and miles of empty countryside in SA.

Rock Band Wii drum kit pictured, nagging questions answered

The lack of controller compatibility is pure crap. You can play GH3 on the wii without the guitar shell, using only the mote. So making it compatible is simply a matter of remapping the inputs to correspond with what the GH shell triggers, which they could have at least included as an option.

If you don't love Brawl, you are an empty husk of a person, a shell of a human being without feeling or purpose.
