It needs to be SO faithful to it's 8-bit grandpappys that it should actually BE an NES game. Release it in cart form, as well as in VC form. I would buy both!

Come on, how awesome would that be?

has there been confirmation that the paddle will still WORK with the US version, even though it is not being bundled? I have been hesitating importing a paddle on the chance that it would be worthless to the US game.

Please oh please let it work so I can import a paddle and be happy.

DS Daily: A longtime companion calls it quits

What a coincidence. Just last night I popped in one of my current favs, Picross. Turn on my DS, "there is no DS game inserted". "That's odd" I thought, as I turned off the system, removed the game, and inspected the contacts on the game for anything that might cause a poor connection. Reinsert the game...."there is no DS game inserted". A small amount of panic begins to set in. How will I get my pixelized puzzle fix? Ok, step by step, is it the game, or the system. Take Metroid out an pop it in, works fine, take Wario Ware out, pop it in, works fine. "Oh no!" I think "My Picross died!". After a few more panicked inserts, turn-ons, failures, removals, it decided to work. Now I am afraid to take the game out of my system for fear it may never work again. Nothing feels lose in the pack, however. I find that a bit odd.

DS Daily: What's in your backlog?

Apr 12th 2008 11:22AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
oh crap...where to begin. Lessee

Starfox
Orcs and Elves
Metroid
Mario v DK
Mario Party
Rayman
Viewtiful Joe
Yoshi's Island.

I'm sure there's more. Picross (best $20 ever spent) and Geometry Wars are always in rotation. However, I'm not sure those games really ever "end". Come to think of it. I give Nintendo an awful lot of money to have a shiny piece of plastic sit on my shelf. Now I'm depressed. I hate you guys.

So the paddle isn't coming to North America?

I now see very little reason for me to purchase this game. I was very excited about it. I just scored an NES version not too long ago which included the Vaus controller and love it. I nearly imported the Japanese version, but held off hoping it would get localized. Now it is, but without the paddle, I may not buy it at all!

DS Daily: Gotta own 'em all

With the addition of a few new ones for Christmas, I have 30 DS games. Purchased my DS Phat release week (has it really been 3 years???). My first game was...it might have been Wario Ware Touched. I remember not buying any games for it for a while and just playing the Metroid demo over and over.

You can mail my quarter to me at...

I would give away the newly released Ghosts and Goblins. Because, well, sometimes I can be a sadist.

I love FotNS! I'll be importing this, methinks. Kenshiro is my homeboy!
