Sega haunts the Wii with Ghost Squad

May 11th 2007 10:09AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Proud owner of a Dreamcast and proud lover of Sega arcade games. I've never played this game, but I'm sure I'll have it for my Wii eventually.

CNet takes Reggie's name and other words

I don't agree with what he's saying if the box cost $250. Sort an assanine statement....it doesn't even play DVD movies.

I wish these Nintendo execs would shut up, they are trying to ruin my Wii experience.

Does the Wii even get so hot as to need a cooling fan?

May 8th 2007 6:32PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
For the people who says a Wii doesn't require a fan: it does...well at least some of them. There is a number of Wii users who had to send theirs back to Nintendo because of overheating. I am one who needs to send his back, also. My Wii was fine for the first couple of months but now it shuts down due to overheating every so often. I'm going to try this fan out, I still have a few months before I have to send this Wii to Nintendo either way.

Wii cooling fan solves a problem you didn't have

May 8th 2007 8:20AM (Engadget)
Actually, I need this. My Wii overheats and the fuse in the power cord shuts down when it gets hot. I'm in a small minority of victims of this problem. I have yet to send my Wii back to Nintendo for repairs but I'm will to try a cooling fan.

Anyone else have this problem? Odd thing is the fact when I run Gamecube games now it doesn't overheat when GC games used to cause the heating problem, too.

Spankin' new Gundam screens

May 7th 2007 8:27PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Btw, am I the only one in the world who seems to be having this issue with his Wii: I can't seem to get my Wii to browse the Will Shop and Internet Channel but I can pull data on the Forecast Channel and News Channel just fine after I changed my router from DHCP to static. I'm running virtual servers at my home so I had to change my configuration for what I'm trying to do.

To get back on topic: the Gundam Wing Super Famicon game was the bomb. Hope that makes the VC one day.

Virtually Overlooked: Bronkie the Bronchiasaurus

Apr 26th 2007 6:50PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
It would be a public service to actually put these on the VC. I wonder who owns the rights to these games now. Is Raya Systems still in business or operating under a new name?

Wii Warm Up: Our worst NiGHTmare

Lol, that mock box art is hilarious. I hope the thread stays somewhat clean.

Wil Wheaton loves the Virtual Console

Guys....why are you even talking about an article from a porn site? I think WiiFanboy should stay away. You truly have to consider the target audience for the Wii is visiting this site for news. For now, I'll have to tell my daughter to stop visiting this site.

Sonic & Mario finally team up for a game

Mar 28th 2007 10:10AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
This bodes well for the future. With that said, every game released has the potential to be the most entertaining game ever. Let's see where this one stands, God willing.

Kohler unleashes MySims Idol on an unsuspecting world

Mar 28th 2007 10:07AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
airpolgas: I saw that site last week and my first thought was "yeah, they have a point" then I came back to my senses and said to myself "does two wrongs make a right?". To "vote for the worst" for some sort of selfish reasoning backs up the same dumb logic the producers of American Idol uses. We are Americans, though, resistance to our own selfish ambitions is futile.
