I plan on starting Prime this weekend after I finish unlocking the two characters in Mario Party 8. I plan on going through Prime and Prime 2 for the millionth time which, I hope, will temporarily fill the humongous void in my gaming heart that only Prime 3 can fill.

Some of you may ask why I am wasting my time with Mario Party 8 in single player mode and my answer is this. I'll do anything to pass the time till Prime 3 comes out.

These are just my thoughts on this issue.

I'm not surprised by this because I wasn't expecting an online multi-player with Prime 3. Retro said it in the beginning that they were going to focus on making the game single-player only but they were looking into the ability of downloading new content via WiiConnect24. Besides, it can still set the stage for future FPS on the Wii as far as controls.

I don't think they could pull off a quick multi-player because of two reasons. One, it needs to be a good step forward than what it was in Prime 2. More characters, better stage designs, online capabilities, these are but of a few issues for multiplayer. Two, because retro focus on a single-player and no multi-player, they have more room on the media to improve graphics to what the Wii is fully capable of. The story line could be much longer than the previous two primes as well.

One final thought, I don't think I could handle another long delay of this game. I'm so looking forward the end of this trilogy (and I have enjoyed it considerably) and I'm also looking forward to the start of a new trilogy for Samus.

Do you think maybe they meant to type 20th and not 27th? I know it may be a long shot but I have hope.

Whatever the reason could be. Its only a week. I can live with that.

If that rumor happens to be true (and I know its not), that would make my day so much better because I went ahead and reserved it.

Okay, BusinessWeek must be on crack because there is no freakin way that Microsoft and Sony are ranked that high on the innovation ladder. Both companies copy anything they see and call their own and they call innovation?

Well, I thought the name "Wii" was a little weird at first but I tried to think about its fun factor because thats what counts on any video game system. All my concerns about the name went away when I heard that at E3, there was a very long line for the Nintendo Wii section while the PS3 section only had a few people.

I know Nintendo has a creative streak in them to give a unique name to its consoles and handhelds instead of adding a number to the end of it (*cough* Playstation 3 *cough* Xbox 360 *cough*) and I still like the fact that they do this.

Keep up the unique work, Nintendo.

I disagree with Microsoft because My friends and I are in our 20's, all of us have a Nintendo Wii, and None of us have an Xbox 360.

I guess we are a little late trading in our Wii or maybe because we like our Nintendo Wii MORE than the Xbox 360.

Take that, Microsoft.
