I need them because I am in the process of developing a system whereby the radio waves distributed by these headphones will cause all undead life in the surrounding area to become enslaved towards the common goal of making and/or procuring cake.
Left4Dead, the game, is also of great value to me as it will aid me in planning my assault strategies on the surrounding undead-infected areas.
So please joystiq, if you wish to make it through these undead days alive, give me the materials I need and we can all be saved.
Wow, I've been playing Halo since day one, back in November of 2001, and I've never even considered Halo for it's graphics. It's never had the best graphics, and it probably never will, that's not what makes Halo Halo. The reason I, and most of the community, have been playing Halo is it's story and gameplay, and infact, that's probably the only reason anyone could play a game that long. Graphics are great, for the first couple times you've seen them, but they lose their initial "OMFG AS IF, THAT'S SICK" value after they've been seen more than a handful of times. It's the story and gameplay elements that keep people playing, if all Halo had was graphics I don't think you'd have seen people logging 10000+ games played in Halo 2, since Lockout loses it's looks the 10000th time. Though I will say, after playing the Halo 3 beta the past week, Halo 3 at 720p looks quite a bit better than Halo 2, as it should, but I don't think that'll be the reason I'll be buying it, bubble shields and freakin' LASERS ruin trilinear highly dynamic bump mapped per pixel lighting anyday. At least IMO.
After reading some of these comments, I can't believe what I'm hearing. For the first time in quite sometime, you get an interview with someone that seems to be honest in what he's doing. He doesn't throw out insults to his competition, and he actually acknowledges Sony's power. He openly talks about how they marketed the console at launch, and how the Core system was used to make more money. While this might seem deceptive, and underhanded, at least he's not hiding this information.
So, while it may seem as though I'm a Peter Moore fanboy, I'm really not. I just like to see the people with actual power in this business speak to its audience with honesty and confidance, and not lies, insults and other low-brow slander.
