Xbox 360's 'boot to disc' option is back, Gamercards get a makeover
Jan 19th 2011 3:52PM (Joystiq)i doubt they did it or purpose but i guess you never know for sure. i think they claimed that it just "stopped working" after the kinect dashboard update. guess they didn't test this update thoroughly or they did it on purpose.

Rumor: 'Avatar Kinect' Xbox feature to be unveiled at CES
Jan 4th 2011 12:19PM (Joystiq)the biggest thing that is missing to me is the inclusion of netflix in the list of apps controllable by kinect. i mean they have the zune marketplace, and espn so why not netflix? i don't think it would be that hard to implement.
Microsoft shoots down Kinect improvement rumors
Dec 23rd 2010 12:10PM (Joystiq)we will keep releasing crap mini-games and that is what we consider constantly working to expand and improve on experiences for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE rather than actually releasing an update to improve the device so that better games can be made for it.
as someone who owns a kinect but doesn't have the know how / desire to do my own modifications, it is frustrating that microsoft can't take what the mod community is doing and apply it to improving kinect. at least that is what i gathered from their generic statement above.
