For those of you who swear by Heinz, you should give Hunts a try. I find it's a bit more complex and ketchupy. Cook's Illustrated did a taste comparison in a recent issue...

Grenadine
Ingredients: 16oz pomegrante juice (POM works just dandy) 2c granulated sugar 1oz vodka (as a preservative)
1. Combine juice and sugar over medium heat and stir around until the sugar dissolves. 2. Remove from heat, stir in vodka, bottle, and pop it in your refrigerator. Keeps for a couple of months.
I would like to echo my pain as well - Any new info will probably be found on ironfans.net. I'm a bit surprised I haven't seen a news article about people storming the FN offices...
I guess I must accept that at some point in my life, they will stop replaying ICJ, whether it's now or 20 years from now. I never really mind watching rerun after rerun, though. If they could put out a DVD a year of the series, I don't see how it wouldn't sell like crazy.
I agree whole-heartedly on the melon baller, but I've found it to be very useful for hollowing out apples, onions, and other "you will destroy me if you take a knife or spoon to me" type of foods.
