obivously you dont play the pc games much because if you did you would know that Blizzard is not a one hit wonder company. In fact they are a genre defining company, one which other games try to measure up to. Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft and now WoW are shining gems in their genres. They set the standards. Again please do your research before you open up your silly mouth. Its funny, in one hand we have the Sony fanboys vs the Microsoft bitches. Now we have Console vs PC as well.

To me i love both formats. PC for their shooters(which is why i dont find the 360 too appealing) and RTS' and MMORPG's and the consoles for the RPG's, the sports games, platformers, action/sdventure etc..

Should WoW be compared to SF and Mario?? I think not because they are on different formats. But WoW can be the SF and Mario equivalents on the PC end. Remember WoW has more than 6 million subscribers worldwide, of ALL ages, around the world, that in itself is an achievement. As for your "i dont think itll last past the expansion" again do your research. The expansion is gonna be the shit. Revised pvp, more pve events, new races, new professiona and more of Blizzard's great lore?? I cant wait..

Everyone saying that 'the 360 is easy to develop for, therefore its better' need only to look at history. Dreamcast(my favorite system) was easy to develop for and what happened?? Ok enough said.

Also because a system is easy to develop for CAN mean developers can get lazy and just 'get it done', never pushing the system beyond its limits, causing their game to look like 'everyone elses', although the Dreamcast had its share of great looking games(Soul Caliber, Sonic Adventure come to mind)

Will this happen? im not sure and honestly, as much as i hate the microsoft giant, I DONT want to see them leave the gaming arena, as like most TRUE gamers have stated, competition only helps the consumers.

So i say to you 'sony haters' and anyother 'hater': just enjoy the damn games, quit trying to make yourselves feel better by dogging on another system and just fucking have fun!!! PS3WII60!!!!

I agree with you on your comments about Nintendo's 1st/2nd party dominance, and that all they need is the 3rd party support. BUT one thing that does matter that you left out, that would make it DOMINATE is GRAPHICS.

Also the reasons you stated how Microsoft plans to win " by outlasting Sony because they have the money(Bill Gates) to do it" is the very reason i despise the Xbox brand. They have forced their way into our game industry and convinced 'mainstream' gamers that they are ok, that they 'care'. NO MS does not care about you MS fanboy. If they did care they wouldnt have abandoned their xbox1 boat so quickly. Thats just wrong of them.

Sony and Nintendo, who also want money, do 'care' for their consumer, which is why their 'name brand' is so damn strong, although Sony has to be reminded from time to time.

How can i say this? Well, Sony is STILL making games for their PS2 system, which i still have, and that shows me that they dont abandon their consumers at the first sign of 'trouble' or just to jump into the next generation 'first'. I feel sony knows how to treat their consumers. Like i said, they are the ones STILL making games for their 'past gen' system and STILL will make games for it even when the PS3 comes out just like they did psone. Didnt they JUST stop making games for PS1 this year? or was it last year??

It was not the first to market but in fact LAST. I hate people getting this fact messed up. PS2 was competing against the N64 and Dreamcast! Sony has NEVER been first to market.

I really don't get why people are saying 'shoving Blu-Ray down our throats". I mean i get that its one of the key reasons of the PS3's high price but i mean i look at it like, hey i can still play and watch, CDs, DVDs, and now Blu-Ray? If Blu-ray doenst take off, Sony is in trouble but hey, at least i can still play my DVDs on the system. Just more options is how i see it.

(Theoritically of course) Also Blu-ray in a game development, sense can actually SAVE developement costs. Right now DVDs are being nearly filled up. Why? because of the Hi-Def 720p, 1080i, 1080p. Say they make a game (further down the road) that is using ALL the tricks and visuals the system can push out, that game might as well fill 2 DVDs even with the best compression techniques. With Blu-ray they wouldnt really have to worry about that since it already holds space!

Its funny to me how all the MS fanboys JUMP on any article that 'spells the doom' of Sony, are you guys that afraid?. MS just wants your money just like sony, they DON'T listen to the gamers. Halo2 ONLY on VISTA? Forcing you to upgrade windows every few years, Win98 --2000--XP---and now Vista. Stop saying MS cares because they don't.

Im not totally against MS. BUT really i think most of the MS fanboys are just a little nervous because of the 'summer' drought of games. you can point me to GRAW and Oblivion but i have a PC that runs those games beautifully. I dont need a 360 for those games. The ONLY game that dropped my jaw was Fight Night 3. That game looked awesome. PGR you say? well thats a very beautiful game too but not what i would call MS must haves. Dead or Alive? Thats been dead since it went from Dreamcast to Sony's system. At least for me it is. Im not too fond of Team Ninja and their "only work on the best system mentality" why? because you cant code your OWN programs? thats right Dead or Alive was founded on SEGA's Virtua FIghter engine.

Anyhow all we can do is wait and see what sony has to offer. I myself dont need to purchase a 360 because my bro has it and frankly, he hasnt touched it since PGR and Chrome Hounds. Thats not a really good sign of "MS' superior" system. MS Live is very nice tho. I do like that, BUT i don't like when MS fans are like "SOny is copying" Sony stated a while back that the PS3 was going to go for a 'more' centralized network, although how centralized we have yet to see.
It really doesnt matter tho, all Sony has to do is come up with decent enough network and it'll work.

Someone has to challenge both Sony and Nintendo to continue to make good games/systems. I'm not convinced of the PS3 yet (too $$, not enough games *I* want. . . yet). I'm a Sony/Nintendo Fanboi and yet, i agree with this statement in that A third console maker does need to be in place as to make the industry competitive and not monopolize it which is what MS is trying to do. No Dont believe me?? Then why make Halo 2 ONLY playable on windows Vista?? Makes you wonder what other titles they will make Vista-Only?? Also because of this:

I hate MS because of this fact. They think they can just come in the game industry and try to take over JUST because they have the 'bill gates behind us' confidence. Its not because they are innovative, it ONLY because they KNOW they can afford mistakes because of Bill "i eat shit" Gates.

This is why i respect Nintendo and Sony more. They have everything to lose. They can't afford mistakes. They have 'earned' their way into the industry by taking big investment risks and actually succeding. But MS is taking a risk. No they are not. With those kinda of losses Nintendo and Sony would be finished. MS FORCED themselves to the 'mainstream well take Halo and think its innovative' america and it unfortunately worked.

I would like to see a better 3rd place canidate, just not MS.
