We always (as defenders) think we get "all ball", but for LeBron, a notorious cheapshooter (as in travelling, fouling, flopping, etc.), I can't say what really went through the refs minds when the play went down or if Lebron really felt he made a clean play. I myself thought it was clean until seeing it in slo-mo, and even then it's close. That wasn't a good time at all for J-rich to attempt such a dunk, so I think he got what he deserved either way.

Shaq was not getting called for his numerous push-offs and charges, but Gasol wouldn't have put up much of a fight any way. Odom fouled out with 4 of his six being cheap; even the commentators agreed his sixth foul was non-existent. The refs weren't giving Kobe anything but the hardwood and he would've dropped 65 easy had he gotten a call every time he got hit on the head or arm. I guess it can be expected that the Phoenix won't give the Lakers anything officiating-wise, but damn was that a badly whistled game. Lakers also need to trade Walton and Mbenga for a real big man who is at least good for six fouls defnding a Shaq-like center.

Out of all the thugs and criminals in the NBA, I've never had Marbury on the "bad" list. He's very into himself, but who isn't? He's a former multi-year All-Star and one of the best guards in the league (when he plays). He was done wrong by the Knicks and D'antoni, and he deserved better. I hope he gets his good name back in Boston...
