Wii problems and solutions
Dec 26th 2006 11:10AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Played a heavy session of Zelda yesterday. Now, whenever the Wii shows a greyed out or black screen - such as on a reset or before game screens load - I get two green and two red lines at the top of the screen, like a major stuck pixel issue. You can see the green lines even on the greyed out screen when the Wii is left alone for a while.
Anyone else getting red and green lines on black screens such as when the wii resets (when you see a load of white wii squares fade in and out)? It's only 2 of each near the top, so it does not affect game play, but it never used to happen, and I have checked the cables, etc. Nothing has changed, but now I cannot help but notice it with dispair every time it comes up. Any ideas? I am using the standard cable that came with the wii as I don't have composite or an HDTV.
