Oh, so nice. Save the economy, by spending money like normal. 92% of people still have their jobs if we stop spending widespread, then more will lose their jobs.

The Wii is fun, is the same way that the DS is fun. It's innovative gameplay. It doesn't bother me that it requires wild hand movements that makes me look like a insane person, because it's so much fun! No, the graphics don't hold up to my new PS3, but I find myself enjoying it just as much. Only time will tell which system 360, PS3 or Wii will be my favorite, but for now if flows like this: I like the 360 controller much better than the PS3, but the Wiimote is a lot of fun in certain instances, like when friends come over. I'm currently playing Resistance Fall of Man, Rayman and Gears of War (because it's so freakin' great!). I haven't busted open Untold Ledgends or Red Steel yet, but I'm looking forward to it! If anyone is considering a Wii, go for it, they are great fun!

Yeah, called my local TRU and Dustin says, "No PS3 pre-orders" and that, "it will be first come first serve...on the 17th". I'm going to call again to be sure Dustin knows what he's talking about...or maybe he's just trying to get them all for him and his friends. Either way, I'm going to call before the 17th to ask if they did pre-orders and if I find out they did, I'll be sure to let Dustin's manager know the full scoop.

I'm excited to be able to ge an affordable HDDVD palyer, but it's so ugly. To quote a podcast interview on majornelson.com, "it has the same exhale design", but it has that design when it's turned sideways! If you look at the images here http://news.com.com/2300-1041_3-6103208-3.html?tag=ne.gall.pg you can see that the side looks similar to the faceplate design. Why on earth would they do this? It's just so ugly. Maybe I will get a stand alone player, but they are ugly right now too...they look like old beta machines. Oh, well...what ja gonna do?

I'm 37 and I grew up with video games. We had Pong when I was like 6 and later got Atari and then Intellivison and then NES. Then on my own I had SNES, Sega, N64, GameCube, PS1, PS2, Xbox and 360. I have also had games that ran on Windows 95, 98 and XP as well as Mac OS9 and OS X. So, Yes, people my age can have grown up with video games...and did. All of my friends and schoolmates were into videogames. That's not to mention all of the little handheld games that were around...gee, I even had a Merlin which for the time was fantastic. Speaking of handhelds I also have a Gameboy Advance, Gameboy SP, Nintendo DS and a PSP...which I'm beta testing a game for. So, yeah, we're gamers and proud of it!

PS no kids...I'm glad, because I wouldn't want to share. ;-)
