I'm glad I've been made aware of this project. I played Goldeneye just last night and can't wait to download this mod and have a go.

That said, there are definite legal issues with this mod and any other mod that draws content from protected entities. I'm actually quite surprised that a C&D hasn't been issued to this team. Weren't there Goldeneye levels released recently for Perfect Dark Zero? I'm sure most gamers would certainly prefer playing HL2 levels than PDZ, and this would dig into the appeal of PDZ -- financial liability there. This might be a contrived scenario, but it's possible.

As much as I appreciate original games, there is a certain value to gamers in nostalgia such that this mod delivers. Best of luck to this team.
