@FlashJS i believe it's because US sales information is collected over a longer period than Japanese or European sales info. so you've probably just missed the article somehow.

Does Tarantino Rely too Heavily on Movie Homages?

If he didn't pay homage to other films he wouldn't have a career.

What's Seeing 'Up' Three Weeks Early Worth to You?

Apr 24th 2009 7:12PM (Cinematical)
I don't know, $250 seems like a pretty decent price for a tour of Pixar to me. Of course I'd have to pay around £1000 to get over to America in the first place and I just don't have that kind of money.

Stories I Don't Believe: A 'Total Recall' Remake?

Feb 26th 2009 11:11AM (Cinematical)
Thing is 'Total Recall' would have been far cooler if it had been made as originally intended. David Cronenberg was lined up to direct it with Richard Dreyfuss in the lead role.

The would have been one hell of a PKD adaptation.

Well, it should at least appeal to Nottingham Forest and Derby fans too.

Clough is a legend of the game and thankfully Sheen's performance has done him justice. I wouldn't say MIchael Sheen is the best character actor in the game, but he's certainly in the top one.

The staff at the BBC News website has a running gag along these lines. Whenever there is a story about Adam Sandler, they refer to him as Adam Sadler.

Fan Rant: Tear Ducked

Dec 9th 2008 7:53AM (Cinematical)
Crummy theater? You best not mean the Genesis, though it's possible it was revamped in the intervening years, the Genesis is a fantastic cinema!

I cry at most stuff, even pap like 'Freedom Writers'. But a lot of films are tailored so that you do cry, because the rule is if you cry at it, it must be a great film.

Fortunately for me I'm able to pick around my emotions and know that if I cry at a film, it doesn't mean it's good. I bawled during 'The Wrestler' and 'Rachel Getting Married' though and they were both fantastic.
