At 43: I didn't think the 2D part that that good at all. I agree that the animation looked too stiff. Also, I don't think that 2D is dead yet, It just needs to evolve a bit.

Games like the Paper Mario series and Alien Hominid are where 2D needs to go. Where the characters are interactive animation cells. Even in feature animation there is definitely a market for 2D animated films, which is why Disney is going back to 2D for "The Frog Princess." So yeah, I would LOVE to see this game be a 2-Dimensional game, since that would be where Gabe's art style would work the best. Especially if they got Stephen Silver to turn the characters from static comic characters to animation. But animation part of the 2D artwork would need to be a lot better first.

Yeah Yeah... The 3D part of it looks awful, but I also thought that the 2D animation looked fairly lifeless as well. Most noticably with Gabe and the punching bag. I don't know what it was, but everything just seemed so stiff. Or maybe I have high standards by comparing everythign to Preston Blair's book.

Capcom should make a special place JUST for all of those MegaMan sprite comics. That way they can sit in the "special corner" of the internet, away from the people who put actual effort into making webcomics.

I used to work at the Fry's in Fountain Valley. ugh, no way would I be going near that place with a ten-foot pole. Also, I don't even like or own WoW.

Actually, in this case the station that ran the story, WBZ-TV, is a CBS O&O. NOT an affiliate station.

An affiliate carries programming from a particular network but is not owned by them. For example, KBFK-TV in Bumblefuck Iowa might carry CBS programming, but is owned by Crazy Ernie's Used car Emporium of Bumblefuck. Whereas a station in New York, LA, or any major metropolitan area is owned by the network they carry. Like KCBS-TV being owned by CBS themselves, and it would carry CBS programming.

There are already people camping outside of the Fry's Electronics in Fountain Valley. I'm pretty sure that Fry's is getting PS3's on launch day. But I have yet to confirm that with the Software DSC for that store. But it would be stupid not to, considering that Fry's has one of the highest per-store sales volumes.

Germany has strong hate-speech laws which have come to mean that publically displaying anything related to nazism is banned. Depending on who is interpreting the laws there, merely having swastikas in the game would have it banned.

Although it is unlikely this will happen, given that we would know if Germany was effictively banning a large portion of video games that are currently available.

Because when playing a real guitar on-stage you are SO limited by having to run an XLR or 1/4" cable. m i rite?
