Kart Rider open beta (finally) begins in North America

During my first run after installing my NOD32 threat detector gave a couple warnings over a Thermeida virus or something. I terminated and the game won't run. I would highly recommend that people don't install this game... why risk having something on your computer that acts like a trojan/virus.

EA and Activision talk smack about rock battle

Aug 9th 2007 9:30PM (Joystiq)
Let's put it this way, Harmonix made Guitar Hero II and it was awesome. They are the ones behind Rock Band.

Guitar Hero III is made by the same people that practically are only famous for bringing Tony Hawk games.

The choice is obvious.

New PSP coming in September

Jul 11th 2007 4:55PM (Joystiq)
Ah this is pretty sweet. I was waiting to see if a new model was going to come out before investing in PSP. With Dracula X and FF7 Crisis Core around the bend I really wanted to invest in one, so this will be perfect. I wasn't expecting the TV Out feature though, that will be interesting to see because I wonder if it will be able to increase the game video size without too much pixelization.

Today's most if-it-happened video: Fallout 3 footage

May 1st 2007 1:20PM (Joystiq)
Timeline (bad source: Wikipedia)

"In 2002, Interplay shed most of its publisher functions and signed a long-term agreement by which Vivendi Universal would publish Interplay's games."

"On December 8, 2003, in the midst of serious financial difficulties, Interplay laid off the entire Black Isle Studios staff."

"Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001.[9] The game was released on November 23, 2004. Published by Vivendi Universal."

"On March 7, 2007, Blizzard announced that the subscriber base for World of Warcraft had reached a new milestone, with 8.5 million players worldwide."

In case you're wondering why you don't have this version of Fallout 3.

Today's arcadiest video: Knights of the Round

This game sucks. I bought it for SNES, and played the rom on MAME. Tiger balls.

I wonder if this phone will claim to have weight loss effects as well.

The DS Lite isn't even a console... it's a handheld...

Sega planning to cut remaining Dreamcast and Saturn support

Apr 2nd 2007 11:59AM (Joystiq)
I still love my Dreamcast and 4 controllers. I brought it out just the other day for a little Bomberman Online, PowerStone 2, and Worms World Party with a bunch of people. You can't beat that!
