Bad analogy. If movied could be streamed for free vs. paid for on Blu-ray, you'd have an argument. The fact that you have to pay for worse quality than you get on disc makes streaming unattractive. Also, what about the fun of bringing a disc over to a friend's house? Can't do that with downloads either.

I installed a 320GB I bought on Amazon for less than $100. Very easy install and now no space worries. I can see why people are bothered by large installs if they haven't upgraded their HDD, but Sony makes this one easy - nowhere near as hard as a PC install.

What a stupid headline. First of all, will the PlayStation 8 have holographic disc capabilities? It's about just as much conjecture to discuss that.

Secondly there's just no way the mass market will have fast enough data connections for streaming video, even 10 years from now. Do you realize how many millions of Americans still use an antenna for TV? I'm talking rabbit ears damn it!

Third, all you have to do is loose your iTunes library once due to an HDD crash (or any other reason) to learn that yes, physical discs are just better. How about taking a movie over to your friend's house? Or better yet, a video game? Good luck doing that with downloaded content.

You're exactly right. The very few people who have an HDTV with no cable/satellite feed are almost certainly not going to spend hundreds on a DVR.

1) Return it to Apple.
2) Buy a BlackBerry.
3) Never have to complain about essentially being a beta tester for your phone.
