Just wanted to say thanks for this little exchange of comments... I'm going on a road trip in August and wanted a new camera, and pretty much going w/ an entry level SLR based on what you all said. Very helpful.

Now this is pretty sexy... this coming from a person who owns Zero Apple products.

To put in perspective, I think the iPad is a useless piece of hardware, and this Iphone 4 blows the iPad away. I don't care if you fanboys think the comparison is off, why the fuck would you buy an Ipad when you could have this? And good god Apple FINALLY put an LED flash.

Wow. I am always surprised by comments.

1. These are the fugliest TOYS I've seen.
2. They look nothing like any real-world guitars... I'm not saying they have to look like Gibsons or Fenders or anything, but can't they at least mimic some kind of real-world guitar? BC Rich's, Flying Vs, Jacksons, ESPs... they all have some great looking 'aggrressive' designs. These just look f'n gay and extra kiddie-ish.
3. If you're a Guitar Hero/Rock Band fan, dont you already have more peripherals lying around your house/room than you know what to do with? At this point in time, wouldn't it be safe to say that the majority of people who play these games have all the instruments they need? You mean some of you actually go out and buy every single Guitar Hero guitar they make? I'm amazed.

You do realize that you can write ANY article/blog about ANYTHING, and there's always 2 guys who will go against the grain for no other reason than to go against the grain?

I mean, if someone invented a TV screen that could puke and shit on everyone, you'd be THAT GUY to defend it and tell people to give it time to mature.

You have a concept thats over 50 years old that, so far, has added no real value to anything. Color brings you what the world "really" looks like, 3D does not. The world doesn't look b&w (unless you're color blind or something). Well, the world I know isn't a bunch of flat images layered on top of one another. Its three dimensional and '3D' is far from three dimensional, its a misnomer. It adds nothing, helps nothing. Its like the Sepia setting on your point and shoot, or a fish eye lense for your SLR... a fun effect, nothing more.

But by all means, spend your money on this useless garbage. So far, there hasn't been ONE SINGLE '3d enthusiast' to properly defend 3D and provide reasons why this will replace everything we know. The only thing you people ever say is, "it just needs time to mature"... to WHAT??? Whats it going to mature to?? Oh crap, instead of 4 flat layered pieces, now we can do 10? Whoopity doo!

Here's a flip side for you: Wouldnt' it be better if these tech companies invested more in holographic tech to bring us REAL 3d? Instead they've blown how much money on this eye candy junk? Its garbage, and until you can think of a better argument for it, you can eat all the rants all day long.
