My guess is that they lose less then half of their potential purchasers so win for them. Also as the game price drops in 6-18 months they will get a bump in purchasers.
So yeah Behemoth make you some money.

May 20th 2008 2:47PM (Joystiq)I mean this is just games reporting and not games journalism. Publishers control how information gets out, hell seems like most of what i read is rephrased Press Releases these days anyway.
I dont think being invite only is worth getting bent out of shape. The only thing that really matters is the game and its quality. If the site of your liking does not get an early copy of the game wait until they buy it at retail and post a review. Simple as that.

Feb 29th 2008 4:04PM (Joystiq Playstation)The freedom that Atari mentions is likely referring to the level editor in the game. Apparently Microsoft made the developer remove the ability to share custom levels late in the process. My guess is that this would not be an issue on PSN.
