An arcade plus that ends up being the same price as a pro, in addition to 3 months of xbox live... although, i suppose this would only be cost effective if you were planning on buying an HDMI cable for the console anyways, since the arcade doesn't come with component cables and a pro doesn't come with an HDMI cable.

Markez...you're a dumb ass... My prediction isn't exactly pulled out of no where...how many 3rd party games do you see on the top 10? None...thats my point...the wii sells like hotcakes, but the 3rd party games just don't sell well, and unless it really stands out and gets raving reviews...developers are taking a HUGE financial risk making games for it...

All you need to do is look at who is buying these things. Keep in mind, you are also just "one gamer". And judging by the fact that you frequent gaming blogs, you're definitely not apart of the majority demographic of the Wii. I'm sure you buy games for it, but the majority of everyone else who's bought one doesn't. Think about how many MILLIONS this thing are selling on a worldwide basis...It almost sold a million in October in the United States alone...but look at what games sold for it and how many during the same period... Wii fit and Wii play? Both games no one who visits this website could possibly take seriously for longer than a day...and wii play is only purchased because of the extra wiimote. Eventually 3rd party devs are just going to call it quits for the wii, if they haven't already, or at the very least, limit the releases on it. I hate to say it, but the only good games likely to come out for the wii from here on out are going to be first party...The Wii won't be able to sustain itself without 3rd party support, eventually it will hit a limit on how many consumers are willing to purchase the system and the lack of software sales will eventually kill it.

I know i'm not an industry expert...but it doesn't take an expert to make such a prediction.

The number of wii's being sold every month baffles me...truly truly baffles me...the damn thing is useless. I don't even need to explain myself on that one, anyone with a decent understanding of who's buying these things knows that wii will eventually fall....but why it hasn't already is really making no sense to me.

they definitely will NOT ban anyone for this... it would be, by far, the dumbest reason to ban people. Think about it, microsoft would be LOSING valuable live customers (which isn't just limited to the gold subscription fee) over a leaked dashboard upgrade that isnt very confidential and everyone is gonna get soon anyways....i wouldn't trip about it.

why's it less than 8 mb when the entire rollout is supposedly much bigger.... does the avatar data take up that much space?

wow, this is actually pretty huge...300 movies actually sounds like a pretty hefty amount to start with....but will they be movies people want to watch in hd?

this is actually a pretty big deal. Microsoft is losing the potential of having a pretty good seller on their system in a very important region to them at this point...

Seems like critics hated it, but user ratings on both yahoo movies and IMDB aren't too bad so far.
