On a whole games scores are way too high. The fact that Dyack is saying people don't get this game is crazy.

What's not to get, they played it and don't care for it?

You know, I just love booting up Overlord to here the minions. I still haven't finished the game, but those brown dudes are pretty funny.

Isn't that exactly what the vast majority of Wii games are? Crappy dumped ports reign supreme on this system.

I am obsessed with Wipeout because it is "the" defining game of the futuristic racing genre. As well, Studio Liverpool's efforts on the PSP were fantastic, so the HD offering is highly anticipated by all fans of the series.

You either LOVE Wipeout, or you could care less. But lots of people love the series.

I typically buy games off Craig's list for the best deals. Day one purchases are always made at Gamestop. The only games I buy on day 1 are collector/limited editions.

Sure, but with the fan success of FF VII Advent Children, Square showed it can be down properly. Plus, take Ubi-films, through in a well known producer (aka Jerry Bruckheimer, working on the PoP movie) and a good director, you may have money well spent.

A CG Splinter cell would be bad, but a CG PoP could be dynamite. Too bad we can't just call them Western Anime's or something cooler than CG Films though.
