If it were a movie quote, it's a tossup between "You can't win, Darth" from A New Hope or "CAN OPENER!!!" from 1941.
From a book, it would be "Mostly harmless" from Hitchhiker's.
TV Show would be "Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor...DAMN!" from NewsRadio (Phil Hartman, R.I.P., good fellow.)
Hmm, favourite songs change so rapidly. What's stuck in my head right now is Run DMC's "It's Christmas time in Hollis, Queens. Mom's cookin' chicken and collard greens."
And for a poem? Gosh, I'm not too intellectual. Perhaps "In Xanadu did Kublai Khan a stately pleasure dome decree?" (I always did like Olivia Newton-John...)
Oo...I have LOTS of favourite Christmas songs, but prob'ly way on up there is "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" from the ORIGINAL Sesame Street Christmas Album (no Elmo allowed).
Two runners-up are Pete Seeger's "Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow" and Spinal Tap's "Christmas With The Devil". (Yeah, divergent, I know...)
