This game is fantastic, with many expansion packs to keep the rules interesting.

It also isn't terribly taxing, strategically speaking, so you can watch a terrible horror movie or Lifetime original while playing.

School standards are not applicable to a game rating. For school grading there is a right and wrong answer. Does 4 plus 4 equal 8? Yes. Does limited multiplayer options equal diminished fun? Not definitively.

That being said, I do doubt that these games should be getting perfect scores of 100. I do not think that a score of 100 should be radically unobtainable though.

So this is an Achilles and the Tortoise dilemma? That seems a little too philosophical for game reviews.

That doesn't make the least bit of logical sense. By your reasoning, a movie shouldn't ever get five stars if one person didn't like it.

We probably shouldn't vote politicians into office unless they get 100% of the vote either.

Who wants to bet that there will be "micro-payments" for all of the Carcassonne expansion packs?
