Military shooters are like 75% of good FPS's (Battlefield, CoD, Killzone, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon), so giving military shooters a rest would be like giving the entire genre a break.

Having just bought a PS3 like two weeks ago. I can say that there is a reason WHY PSN is free. UI wise, it's fragmented, full of holes, slow, and feels like a jumble of windows and not some kind of unified experience. There is no sense of community. And the social aspect feels non-existent. It's like the difference between your Facebook account and the details you enter in on an internet forum profile.

Server wise, games use different types of servers. Games like Halo 3 and CoD4 use P2P types of game match servers. But Battlefield Bad Company, Battlefield 1943, and Battlefield Bad Company 2 use dedicated servers. Where there are rooms that constantly exist somewhere and take in players to host matches.

Also, dedicated servers aren't always the best choice. Playing Killzone 2 the other day was a shock. A horrible server browser where you get like 10 choices that all suck. I don't want to play one map over and over again with just pistols, but this idiot hosting the server decided it was the most fun thing to do.

Also, just buy all the consoles and stop whining. If you don't have the money, get the money. I'm finding it hilarious that when the MP demo hits I'll be playing it on all three platforms thanks to having a gaming PC on top of the 360 and PS3.

I missed the talking achievement too... just restart a new game... sure, I lost my "100% of everything" in my stats screen, but I have 1000/1000 points.

Seriously, I just... obtained Caprici Di Diablo... it has no vocals... and it's probably gonna be harder than Through the Fire and the Flames, Thrasher, and Jordan... seriously... Or at least as hard...

It'd be nice to make some games for the Wii for a change. I haven't turned my Wii on in weeks... and I've only had it since May.
