Most of the hyperbole surrounding the original was to do with running it at all, also I ran it with most of the settings on high, just not anti-aliasing and whilst occasionally it'd stutter it otherwise looked and played great; besides I would've had fun on lower settings anyway.
I can't believe joystiq are still peddling the disinformation about the requirements for the original PC version, I ran it on a radeon 1950 which was a budget card when Crysis was released! On topic I'm glad console owners are getting a chance to try this game because I had a lot of fun with it, you can kill enemies by throwing crabs at them, always a good thing.
The only slow strategy I remember from the original was making sure all the civilians were lined up neatly so I could kill them all with one shot of the laser rifle, I would hardly call the original an RTS, it was an isometric shooter at it's core.
@kmcroc This company WANT to give this away free and in fact are for the PC version, Microsoft won't allow them to on the 360, it's a shame your parents and grandparents didn't raise you to read articles before commenting on them.
I've been able to connect my PC to my TV for years, also "BS" like mods created Counterstrike, one of the most popular online games, is that a newsflash for you?
@Deadstarone It's a promotional tool for the onlive service (which I happen to think is a good service) but it's not a PC demo, it's not going to show me how the game runs on my system which for a lot of PC gamers is half the point of a demo.
