Warhawk, MotorStorm, & other bootleg GDC PS3 videos
Apr 2nd 2006 5:13PM (Joystiq)Take a look at the E3 video of Motorstorm.
Now look again at the video provided above, of Motorstorm.

Apr 2nd 2006 1:07PM (Joystiq)And as far as getting up is concerned. I enjoy it. I am not "dissing" Sony or anyone else. I just think that the business that was long created ago to entertain, has turned into a sad group of penny-whoring franchises.
I am not exactly a Nintendo fan either. They have made some MAJOR mistakes in the past. The only difference is that Nintendo is trying to rejuvinate itself, what is Sony and M$ doing? All I see them doing is trying to get your money, but failing miserably at it.
EQ2 anyone? Exactly.

Apr 2nd 2006 4:23AM (Joystiq)There is a major difference between the graphics of today (or near-future), and complete realism. The idea of greater graphics was always to have more realism. But now it is just looking more fake and fake. In time, Mario 64 will look more real then anything the PS4 / Xbox720 will have to offer.
I just hope Nintendo doesn't hop into the whole graphics bullshit. Luckily, there won't be any worry for that anytime soon.
But then again, some good does come from this. It gives both parties (Sony / M$) an equal opportunity to spew all of the bullshit they can before the actual release. Such as all of these M$ comments saying how the 360 and PS3 will have an equal amount of power / graphics capability. This was first mentioned just after E3 when we all slept through M$'s conference and almost shit our pants to Sony's revelation of their new "Whats fake is real" campaign.
Oh, and in walks Nintendo from the little black room on the other side of the building. What's that Reggie? Kick ass and take names?
I would just like to thank Kutaragi is not vowing to take ass and kick names.
I would just like to take my hat off (I don't wear a hat) to Nintendo on their soon-to-be complete resurrection. And total dominance of the industry of "consoles". I think we can leave the PC market to... sigh... Blizzard. Yes, you made me say it. The same people who were "smart" enough to cancel Diablo 3 development TWICE.

Apr 2nd 2006 3:27AM (Joystiq)Warhawk on the other hand, looks very nice indeed. But does not make me want to buy any next-gen system yet.

Apr 1st 2006 12:21AM (Joystiq)I'll have to pre-order my copy of Burnout: Traffic Jam for my Xbox720 and my PS3 tomorrow.
Scary thing is. I can imagine the Gizmondo dominating in the next-gen of portable gaming.
THQ Superstar Challenge in Chicago tonight [update 1]
Mar 30th 2006 7:42PM (Joystiq)THQ Superstar Challenge in Chicago tonight [update 1]
Mar 30th 2006 7:06PM (Joystiq)This will become the first wrestling game that will appear on the next-gen consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game will also be available on the PlayStation 2 and PSP. Not only does this mark the first time in the franchise's history that a SmackDown! title will appear on two consoles at once, but the first time that the game will appear on a platform other than Sony.

FPS lineup for 2006
Jan 31st 2006 5:26PM (Joystiq)O well. I was looking forward to Huxley. But now it just does not seem like something I would drop WoW for.
All I can really look forward to is Killzone PS3 and Half-Life 2: Aftermath.
