Jilted Bob's Game creator fights back by littering

Ah, that is true, you learn MUCH faster from failures than from successes! I hope Bob can learn from them too. I just think he needs to turn down the ego a bit, and try other, more professional methods.

He definitely got the word out though, so I'll give him that, XD.

All good examples, but the difference between those people and Bob is that Bob is engaging in petty, stupid protests. The toothpick guy paying people to ask if they sold them? Not only is that pretty clever, it was unobtrusive to the business. There are professional and intelligent ways to go about things like this. Bob, however, is going the douchebag route.

Does he honestly expect Nintendo to give him that devkit after he does this?

"Batshit insane idealism and enthusiasm" is wonderful, but people need a little bit of common sense to back it up.

@lasersanchez

Well, it would be wonderful to have our games and ideas turn out exactly the way we wanted them too, but that's not the way the world works unfortunately. It could be corporate meddling, it could be time constraints or any number of factors. I agree, it certainly would be nice to keep the integrity of our work! But life's kind of a bitch that way. D:

Are you serious? Getting published by a big name company means you WILL have to "let go of your baby." Hardly anyone has complete creative freedom in any industry. That's why we have things cut from and remade in games and movies. Look at Rareware and Star Fox Adventures. You'll never have your idea completely intact when you sign on with a company, and it is REALLY naive to think so.

And no one here has creativity because we decry his protest? Lol. There are many more mature and effective ways to get your game published, even on other platforms.

Were I Nintendo, first of all, I would laugh from atop my ivory towers and perhaps have him arrested to vandalism.

Then I'd dive Scrooge McDuck style into my piles of money.

Good luck getting a devkit now, Bob.

That voice, urrrrghhh. Here's hoping that there's a Japanese/Gibberish voice option.

Not a deal breaker though. I will buy TWO copies. X3
