I agree with the fashion statement option though, then yeah, go for mac. but for functionality and choice, for the life of me, I don't understand how mac could be a consideration. as for the security threats, how many engadget readers have actually been infected with one? Or are we all mums and dads and grandparents?

I am surprised that no one has mentioned how the CS3 installation makes shut down almost everything... firefox, outlook and more. If it was just for a few minutes then fine, but installing design premium takes way over 30 minutes. What does Adobe expect us to do? sit around and stare at the boring installation screen?

Talk about bloated. Unfortunately I am dependent on them for my work and freelance. Someone mentioned corel; Coreldraw has got to be the most unreliable design software I have used. Hate it.

I create a folder named as "^" with all my essential and frequently used program shortcuts, i then add that folder as a toolbar from the task tray, then it just becomes a matter of hitting START/TAB and then the first letter of the app. So easy, so quick.

Twitch, the reason why you have to hit enter is because you have more than one shortcut starting with the same character. With my method, you can just prefix your app (eg. 1 - Photoshop, 2 - Paint Shop Pro) and hit either 1 or 2 and you are good to go.
