On the eve of having the largest game rollout ever until 2008 about to start and having a price cut as well means GAME OVER for the competition. Not a fanboy but a business man. I really feel like Microsoft lined this up perfectly with the timing and this will be the main blow that helped make the knockout happen when it is all said and done and we are all looking back at this 6 years from now. Holla!

I actually like this idea. However, this should have been released the same day of a price drop on the rest of the systems with the Elite being the old price of what the premium is now. So for clarity:

Elite $399

Premium $299

Core $229

If the price drop and release would have been done at the same time there would have been people dancing in the street.

Its as simple as this. We have just witnessed the tides change and the the new flagship system of the console wars is the 360. Its really that plain and simple. Many may not want to believe it but have certainly felt it.
