I also find the tag links annoying. They are really unnecessary to have in the article. You already have tags at the bottom that we can click on if we want to do a generic search. I think you should only use links in the article to point to other specific articles/sites.
For example, the Hachima link in this article is good. It leads to another specific resource that we would not find on this site. The Classic Controller link is worthless because it just gives us a generic listing of anything having to do with the Classic Controller on this site. There should be a tag for that at the bottom that people could use if they wanted to see all the Joystiq articles on the subject.
Telling people that source links exist won't change the annoying tag links in the articles. This might be a good time to listen to the concerns of your users and think about making some changes.
Apparently some states/countries can cancel their subscriptions online. I called to cancel an account for my sister after one of the $1 dashboard deals and he told me that since I live in Illinois I can cancel from Xbox.com. I went to the site and I was able to cancel it right there.
I hope Steam doesn't give in to them. Whatever EA is planning can't be good for the customers.
Just look at what happened when Microsoft let them run their own servers on Xbox. Now EA gets to permanently disable online play for their games whenever they feel like it.
Volchaos would have had my vote but for some reason it isn't on the list of choices, even though it is one of the candidates on the main page. Hopefully it is an oversight and will be added soon enough to make a difference.
Yeah, that is the situation I am in. There are maybe a couple dozen PS3 exclusive games that I would love to play but that just isn't enough to justify buying another console that is so similar to the one I already have.
I know that one day it will drop to the right price and all the games I want will be $5 or $10 by then.
I can understand your frustration. I am an Xbox owner and there are a handful of PSN games that I want that I won't be able to play until I get a PS3.
What I don't understand is that you are really looking forward to the game, but you won't buy it if it comes out later than you would like? Are you going to suddenly NOT like the game after a certain date?
I liked this challenge but the robot chase makes most of it pointless for getting the best time. I can easily get to the end of the level with a few seconds left but then I have to stand around waiting for the robot to run into the laser.
Basically that means that everyone will have almost the same time on that part regardless of skill.

Jul 30th 2011 5:01PM (Joystiq)At least now no one will be able to pirate the game... Unless hackers remove or circumvent the DRM, but surely that couldn't happen.
