As a side-note, I always thought it kind of clever (read: bastardly) on Sony's part that eliminating the UMD meant games still neeed to be stored somewhere. And where is that? Why, its a Sony Memory Stick. I don't recall if the Go has a slot for a MS, but those of us on older PSPs who want games like, say, Patapon 2, not only have to lay out for the cost of the game, but we need to buy the Sony proprietary medium to store it on. Granted you can buy a third-party MS if you want, but I'm sure they'll do what they can to discourage this.
$40 PSP downloaded game + $15-$40 memory stick = screw the customers (and profit!)
I was told by a Gamestop employee about three weeks ago that they were sent notice by Sony that they would no longer be receiving any 20 gig models... Given how arrogant and certain Sony is that the plebs will rush out and worship their overpriced baby, is it really any surprise that they're pulling the economy model?
What I really find amusing is that while reading the text copy of WTAA's story, I was presented with a banner ad for another one of those gruesome 'Bodies' exhibits. You know the ones, where corpses are stripped down and posed in whimsical stances to show anatomy? The exhibits where the corpses come from China and are TOTALLY obtained through non-questionable means?
Yeah, if it'll bring in money, it doesn't matter how stupid (the article) or questionable (the exhibit) or hypocritical (WTAA acting as a moral paragon) it is.
