a good majority of older gamers (such as myself) were waiting for the title to make a splash, to prove itself. Fable 1 was so-so, with a lot of potential. with Fable 2, Lionhead / Molyneux have got themselves a winner. they hushed the critics with this one.
Fable 2 is a lot like Rocky 2. the kid had heart the first time, but this proves he's here to stay.

Xbox Live has been pathetic. putting along like the piss poor, sorry service that it really is. it's heinous.
screw a free XBLA game. what a sad attempt at compensation. if i had it my way, i'd take a voucher for 5 full fledged $59.99 retail games. that's all the life the system's got left anyway.
