I can't see it on the market place. Searched "Voice Search" - nothing.
Looked up all apps by Google Inc - nothing called voice search.

UK 2.2 HTC Desire

I have udpated to 2.2 UK Desire.
My main feature of interest from 2.2 was Voice Dialing so I can finally use handsfree kit in car correctly.

I cannot see it anywhere. There's no new app for voice dialing. Can someone else confirm this?

I am incidently looking forward to the 360 lineup this year also. The nearest release is Race Pro, which I'm hoping will succeed forza 2.

I own all three and tbh my ps3 sees the same level of use as my 360. There's a lot there that isn't on 360 and it does have its positives.

Sony have a cracking 2009 lineup compared to 360 (from what has or more accurately not been announced so far) so I guess they are confident that they can keep the price up. Also with the euro so strong, a sale in the EU is clearly subsidising other regions and of course their bottom line which in light of recent shake rumours, I imagine is very important.

I appreciate the upgrade but as an owner of all both main consoles, I find the current interface of the 360 too immature. In particular crayola colour choice, brash adverts for games in particular rubbish ones. The ps3 gains here as the XMB interface is free from such issues but on the downside is slower to navigate messaging etc.

I would have hoped that Microsoft would have used a more mature colour pallet. It is cleaner to look at but the inclusion of avatars then throws the lot out the window.

It seems they are intend on buddying up with Rare, with viva pinata style design which is by its nature surely orientated to children or 'a wider audience'. I'm all for attempts to make gaming more mainstream, away from the stereotypes of teenage bedroom gamers but I don't think this NXE aids this. It just makes a compromise for all parties involved.

I've got buzz for ps3. Yes the sofa vs sofa is limited to one person per console but I've been playing user generated quizzes in normal online game mode all week. It's great stuff. The length of the games is pitched perfectly too.

I would like more gamemodes for sure but it has managed to get my gf interested in the ps3 and online play is great. Servers are not the most reliable though I should add.

Entirely the same sentiments here. GRID is pure arcade, akin to sega rally revo. I tried the demo with assists on and off and it feel so wrong, I deleted it. F1CE on the other hand was superb, graphically and gameplay wise. I have no doubt Codemaster's iteration will be a let down but I'm hoping I'm proven wrong.
