12 Days of Joyswag: Fable 3 rucksack with Collector's Edition, book, and controller

Dec 21st 2010 4:06AM (Joystiq)
The Sam & Max Season 1 retail copy starts getting super choppy after like 15 minutes of play. I guess that's not all that exciting but it was infuriating because I never got to finish the games.

Wait, they said that? Last I had heard, they were talking like they removed the extra processor?

Samsung debuts U820 QWERTY slider at CTIA, no one notices

Yes actually. I sell phones for a living and believe it or not, we sell a of phones like these, more than iphones or droids. What you're not factoring in here is data plans that those phones require. A lot of people just use their phones for talk and text, and paying $30 a month for internet isn't appealing to them.

HTC EVO 4G is Sprint's Android-powered knight in superphone armor, we go hands-on

Oh wow, amazing. I want one now. Sorry Palm Pre, you were a great friend for a year, but this thing is amazing.

Sprint to announce 'groundbreaking new device' (HTC Supersonic?) tomorrow

Mar 22nd 2010 11:23PM (Engadget)
Cautiously crossing my fingers for this one. Supersonic sounds great, but Sprint also did something like this for the Instinct and it was hardly groundbreaking.

Official: Apple now offering iPhones contract free (updated: not unlocked)

Best Buy has been selling iPhones w/o a contract for almost 2 years now... I'm surprised at&t/apple stores weren't.

How is the ping on 4G? I'm thinking about dumping my landline and going all wireless when 4G hits here in May.

Palm: this is your survival guide

@Plazmic Flame

That doesn't mean they should just avoid CDMA entirely. I can understand if they said "Don't put it exclusively on Sprint" but they didn't, they said "Don't put it on Sprint."

I dunno about everyone else, but I like paying $70 a month instead of $130 on VZW/AT&T. The network isn't terrible either.

Don't release it on Sprint? Eff you Engadget.

WiMAX-enabled HTC Supersonic rumored to debut on Sprint at CTIA

Mar 17th 2010 8:09PM (Engadget)
The stars have aligned for me.

I'm eligible for an upgrade on Sprint.
4G is coming to my area in May.
HTC Supersonic is launching around that time.

I love you Palm Pre, but unless you can get a WiMax phone out soon, I may have to see other phones.
