Engadget's recession antidote: win a 16GB iPhone 3G from Rapid Repair!
Aug 1st 2009 5:11PM (Engadget)DS Daily: Recommend some homebrew apps
Jan 19th 2009 10:12AM (Joystiq Nintendo)As for the anti-piracy morons, you can thank good old Andrew Yoon over at PSPfanboy for spreading that unprovable nonsense about how piracy is solely responsible for the downfall of the PSP.
John Koller: Piracy is 'trending down right now'
Nov 29th 2008 5:44PM (Joystiq Playstation)But why on earth do people believe the crap that Sony is shoveling here?
Piracy is "teh doom" of the PSP, huh? Yet it continues to sell and sometimes dominate in Japan, continues to have many more games released in other territories, etc. To even pirate a game on the PSP, one has to get a tool battery and go through a rather complicated procedure to install CFW (and if you read the stats from the actual CFW creator, you know that less than 10% of the install base has actually downloaded it).
Then, you've got a 1-2GB file to download.
Let's compare that to pirating games on the DS, where you can buy a $12 flashcart + memcard and download any game you could ever want with a simple google search.
Yet somehow Nintendo never seems to be moaning and crying about how piracy is causing their doom.
Sony is obviously doing something wrong with marketing the PSP in the US. They need to stop putting all the blame on this boogieman known as "piracy.

Sep 9th 2008 3:40PM (Engadget)I, for one, have been waiting on the Touch fence since last year, and the new pricing and features on the 32GB Touch has definitely got me motivated to buy. Do I wish they had a 64GB option? Sure, but seriously, what's not to like about the new upgrade?

Sep 10th 2006 10:07PM (AOL TV)I know it's become cliche to rag on the Simpsons and say things used to be "better," but MAN. Didn't even smile, much less laugh, at this very weak Godfather parody. How could Homer as a mob boss NOT be funny?? Man, so many lost opportunities.
