That may be true in some cases, but where I live, they NEVER sold in MANY stores, with many have one to three PS3s left... That does not sound like they sold out to mobs of fans...

Heishero brings up a good point: if you have to pay for virtual property, you should be able to pay for the virtual property with virtual money. As Morder said, if we lose items/money virtually, we should be able to make tax claims on them. This would hurt our economy by resulting in a completely virtual money system. Hmmm... time to shop on Amazon... Oh, wait. I don't have enough money to buy that $250 Wii. I'd better go gain some money in Second Life to pay for it. That would cause inflation because of a decrease in money value. This "economist" obviously a)has had no training in economy and b)needs to understand the concept of a "game".

Well said, John. I was at another Target launch with 60 Wiis. The staff there was very professional and they earned their pay. I was 22nd and my mom and cousin accounted for 23 and 24. (We got 3 Wiis - 2 for ourselves and 1 for Ebay). I'm going to Target next-gen too.

I was at the target launch. I got there at 4 am. I was 22nd, my mom was 23rd, and my cousin was 24th. Our Target got 60 Wiis. They didn't sell out right away. Anyways, 4 hours of waiting is definitely worth it to me.

My favorite game for the Xbox 360 is Final Fantasy XI, even though it's not Xbox 360 exclusive. Out of Xbox 360 exclusive games, my favorite is Full Auto(at least I think it's exclusive).

Hey, guys. I did this the first day it came out... but it took me a while to get the files for it... All of the files are NOT included in the download from pspupdates or any other website. If you need them, I will give you ALL the files to downgrade your 2.71 PSP. I am almost 100% sure that this will not brick your PSP (I was scared at first) but I will not guarantee brick-free because it MAY happen. Welcome to 1.50!

umm... I love Joystiq and read it almost every day... but this isn't news... About a week ago, an EB Games employee told me it'd be out on Nov. 6.

This is a good idea... but think about it. If you're wardriving in the first place, you're too cheap to buy WiFi. What's to make you think they'll actually stay there and read it? Even if they do read it, they probably won't care about it.
