Dude, I respoct your POV. But I do have mine, and as many (I can't confirm a majority, but am sure many) others feel that the reissue was too soon.

If this was actual DLC, you would find complainers but a lot less. The reason I am pissed off is that I too waited 10 years. Bought a game day one for $60. And as a busy older gamer, only have weekends to play.

It is an ultimatum, how many players were left in VSF4 after Super was released?
Its the fear of being left out that made hoards run to buy the reissue of SF4. I don't mind the new game, just would have been better to either iron them out over 12 months, or at least offer fans a DLC pack for $20 (total game would be $80)...and you know they would have easily done that. And you know why they didn't too.

In the end you and I show different opinions about a genre and game we cared enough to buy and invest time in. I just feel cheated based on the industry norms. Norms which are sure to change if this behaviour is tolerated from Capcorn.

Ok, how about this... I bought MvC3 for $60. Capcorn release this DLC pack for $40, only I cant buy the 3 characters I want, I have to buy the whole pack.

A DLC repackage is what Little Big Planet 2 is doing, adding a large bundle and reselling the game with the DLC for $40. Buuuuuuut, as an ownier of the basic version of LBP2, all the new players with the DLC can play online with the original purchasers. THAT DLC.

What Capcorn are doing are giving all the original purchasers an ultimatum to pay that extra $40 or stare at a searching for players screen for hours.

You'll come around, Capcorn will go bankrupt after asking everyone for $10 annual online pass for each game...you know, to discourage used sales.

Give the rest of us busy folk some slack. I use to finish Magican Lord on one life, and completed Ninja Gaiden on the NES. I had time back then.

I want to enjoy a game with these settings without having to not only grind, but grind while walking on eggshells for 100 hours. The addition of these special combo weapons gives people who want an edge, that time saving edge.

And for the rest of you (whom I respect your opinion) the developers can put in trophies and achievments to give you that sense of fulfillment.

Just some simpler math

The game had 36 characters at $60, 60/36= $1.67 per character. And that doesn't include all the stages, color swaps, story, gallary, and boss battle.
The addition is 14 characters 12+2, at 1.67, thats $23.4 worth of DLC being sold for $40.

Capcorn is fleecing you for over $16.

Just some food for thought before some idiot begins crying about crummy business practices.

You know, Capcorn keep this up with 1%ers cheering....you can expect SFxTekken to demand an online pass.

Thats awful, I was considering buying the game but was put off by the diffculty. Now they are making it harder?!

Why not spam the map with Rugals and be done with it.

If this is the trend, the third game wont require them to program an ending....or a second area for that matter.
