All that I really want is a higher resolution screen, a FaceTime camera 1mp on the front, and a 5mp camera on the back. Other than those features my 64gb iPad 3G already has everything I need and is plenty fast enough. I hope Apple doesn't let Android lap them in this refresh. I'd be surprised if they do. I'm hoping Apple has seeded some false intel on the low resolution rear camera and keeping the screen resolution the same. I'm not hoping (or wanting) a 326dpi screen, just for them to double the current resolution so text looks almost as good as a full retina display. I tend to hold the iPad a little farther away from my face than my iPhone 4 so I doubt if I'll notice a difference between 264dpi (if they double the iPad resolution) and 326dpi (retina display). Seriously, though, maybe my eyes are really good but now that I'm used to the retina display on the iPhone 4 text on the iPad, especially small text, just looks unacceptable.
Short version, if Apple doesn't give me a >200dpi display I'll probable switch to an Android 3.0 tablet that does. And even though I know not a lot of people can envision needing that back camera, we do field reporting on our iPads at work and are very excited about a 5mp camera so we don't have to carry a separate camera. If Apple only includes a "toy" quality 1-2mp rear camera there will plenty of Android tablets that offer at least a 5mp rear camera.
Closing point: I hope Apple is planning on supporting LTE on both iPhone 5 and iPad in June 2011. If not this is another opportunity for Android to gain market share in 2011. Apple needs to stay ahead of the competition and not just sit on the "we were here first so we'll stay in the lead" mentality that killed both Symbian and Palm. Innovate or die, guys. My Apple loyalty only goes so far...
Does anyone know if this is coming to XBox Live Video Marketplace? I'd rather download it than buy yet another DVD (especially if it's available in HD). Interestingly, they have Season 6 episodes available for download, but Blue Harvest isn't the first episode available. Instead it's "Movin Out - Brian's Song". Probably because it's a one hour episode instead of 30 minutes.
Spring update works perfectly for me and the 6 other friends I play with that all put it on. There are a few cases of people having problems though, so there's probably something up with the update. My guess is that the update might surface a hardware problem that was otherwise undetected in the old firmware. I personally think that MS should replace all "red light" problems regardless of warranty, but that's just me.
Funny point, but you know what he meant... You can't even get a high-end video card and sound card for that price. My 360's been hungry for this game since Nov. 22nd. Bring it on!
