Kill Bill Vol. 1, when Lucy Liu and the Crazy 88's first walk in to that teahouse. They have this body slightly tilted sideways, head still, focused, combined with the music...I can never get through a DVD viewing without rewinding and playing that again.

More seriously, it comes across a little defensive to write a 2000+ word rant defending yourself against a very general "article" like this. Doth protest much and all that. You can say "well, I don't do this", but that doesn't really absolve the entire profession, and it's not really the point.

Obviously the article, with its marketing textbook style headline and chopped up ad maximizing format, was designed to get angry bloggers to link to it and get the Pagerank up. It's too bad they're so stupid and don't know anything, otherwise it might have worked.

Yeah, this is convenient. In 2006 (and 2005, and 2004, etc.) all we hear about is how the show is too big, there's too much glitz, too many booth babes (oh, and here's our booth babe gallery), just too many distractions to get any *real* work done.

So in 2007 there is a pared down show, where you can get real work done, but that's no good because there's too many places to drive to, and why can't they just have it all in one place like they used to.

So this year they move it back to LA, keep everything in one place, make it easy for people to get to what they wanted and cover everything they need. That of course, is crap. We really want the old feet hurting, bored booth babe stalking, waiting in line behind 300 fanboys, headache inducing, money wasting, sweat smelling E3s we used to have. Long live the non-revolution.

I guess that's one thing about E3 that hasn't changed, the complaining.

No, it's still a joke, it's just that the makers aren't in on it...

I buy my gear either from amazon or the back of some guy's van (it's where I got my free speakers!).
