It's hard to explain why I'm wrong because I'm not. By your logic, increasing something by 30% and increasing it by 130% are the same thing. You can try to dodge around it all you want but increasing something x% is not the same as modifying it to x% of the original value.
Honestly, I can't believe I've been sucked into this argument.
What does this have to do with Dante's Inferno other than being set in Hell? I don't remember any fighting at all in the divine comedy actually, except some of the denizens of Hell fighting each other..
The only way I could see this becoming a worthwhile IP is if they follow it up with Dante's Purgatorio which is purposefully extremely unpleasant to play, but you have to beat it in order to play the next sequel, Dante's Paradiso in which you get to fight God.
So nobody here would think anything was wrong with it if I made a mod for HL2 that was an exact copy of, say, The Ship, and then sold it under the name "The Boat"?
In response to #1. Congress includes the senate. You are just plain wrong. Not every congressman is running for reelection in the fall. If you're going to try to argue stuff like that, at least be right.
Wow, JGE, your post is not at all ignorant. It is entirely possible for the Xbox 360 to get a virus because of this. I mean, it wouldn't be possible if the Xbox 360 weren't the device running a web browser, and that it was only getting the rendered output from said browser and sending back commands. But that's not at all what happens. This story is about code that runs on an Xbox 360 to download stuff to the 360 from the web, right?
I don't understand, what's the point? The Xbox 360 HDD is already removable, it costs less, has more capacity, and most importantly the 360 can't write to other USB drives. Can it write to this?
In response to 16. Why could the demo run it but it can't on the 360? Because there were like two objects in the demo. Do you think there might be scenes with more than two objects in Oblivion? Do you think that graphics demo also had to contend with processing the AI, physics, etc? No, probably not. So, what a surprise, there's a bit of difference between being able to do something in a graphics demo and being able to do something in a full game.
